Paid Services

Professional international engagement services, delivered transparently

In addition to our community partnership work, Eastern Bridge provides a range of professional, fee-paid services for organisations seeking to engage with Asia in a structured, informed, and low-risk way.

These services are typically used by:

  • Businesses
  • Industry groups
  • Education providers
  • Organisations undertaking commercial or investment activity

They are offered separately from our community partnership work and are governed by clear commercial agreements.

At a glance

  • Professional, fee-paid services delivered by Eastern Bridge Limited
  • Separate from community partnership activities
  • Clear scope, transparency, and accountability
  • Designed to reduce risk and avoid costly mistakes
  • Delivered by teams with deep Asia experience and networks

How paid services fit alongside our community work

Eastern Bridge’s primary role is to support community-level international relationships with local government, iwi and hapū, and schools.

From time to time, those relationships — or independent enquiries — lead to requests for professional services that sit outside community relationship management. These may include commercial, trade, investment, or organisational advisory work.

To protect trust and integrity:

  • Community partnership work and paid services are clearly separated
  • Paid services operate under separate agreements
  • Councils, iwi, and schools are not financially liable for paid services
  • Any fees or commissions are discussed and agreed in advance

This approach ensures transparency for all parties.

What our paid services are designed to do

International engagement in Asia requires careful preparation, cultural understanding, and realistic expectations.

Our paid services are designed to:

  • Reduce commercial and reputational risk
  • Improve decision-making and market selection
  • Avoid common and costly mistakes
  • Support long-term, relationship-based engagement
  • Provide practical, on-the-ground capability

We do not promise outcomes that cannot be controlled, and we do not promote speculative or high-risk approaches.

  • Fixed project fees
  • Retainers
  • Commission or success-based fees (where appropriate)

Indicative pricing is discussed directly and is not published on this site.

When paid services may not be appropriate

Eastern Bridge does not take on every piece of work.

We may decline or defer engagement where:

  • Objectives are unrealistic
  • Risk cannot be managed responsibly
  • The work falls outside our capability or values
  • Adequate resourcing is not available

This approach protects both our clients and our reputation.
